Introducing Shellter Pro Plus v6.0

Hi all,

This type of announcements are usually filled with excitement and joy.

However, this one unfortunately, will have to be a bit different than the previous ones.

A few days ago on the night of February 28th, a terrible train accident, that could have been avoided, took place in Greece, where multiple people and especially young university students were fatally injured.

There isn’t much any of us can say in moments like this to ease the pain of the affected families, and so we kept our silence in the honour of the people lost.

We are now getting closer to the release of our next major version update of the Shellter Pro Plus series software. We wish to dedicate the upcoming release in memory of those we lost that day.

Introducing Shellter Pro v3.0!

Dear friends,

We are excited to introduce Shellter Pro v3.0 (Codename: Kris Kaspersky).

Scheduled for release on: 16/2/2018

A lot of work has been put on this release, and many things have been enhanced and greatly optimized.

A huge part of this work was dedicated into enhancing further the AV evasion capabilities of Shellter Pro, thus increasing the gap between the community and the Pro editions.

Finally, we also added a series of extra features that will not just create a better user experience, but will also, in combination with the rest of the internal changes, provide a lot better AV evasion results.

So here’s a summary of what’s coming up next with the release of Shellter Pro v3.0. Continue reading Introducing Shellter Pro v3.0!

An important tip for Shellter usage

Hi all,

I have been watching this ‘bad habit’ that I am  going to discuss about, happening very often so it’s time to talk about it.

I have noticed that people tend to use Shellter with the same executables, even when this is not required as I explain later on.

Someone uploads a demo video infecting ‘putty.exe’,  then everyone uses that.
Next day someone uploads a video infecting the setup program of ‘Winrar’ and then everyone uses that.
It’s one thing using the same executables for creating videos for educational and demonstration purposes and another using those all the time on VirusTotal and other online multi-AV scanners.

I hate to ruin this for you, but by always using the same executables with Shellter,  AV vendors create better heuristics for those specific legitimate executables that you infect.

This is not really effective against Shellter itself but in some cases might fit the purpose, and make things worse for yourself when you really need to convince someone to execute a specific ‘legitimate’ application that you have infected.
